Byron Preiss Multimedia was a software development and publishing company founded in 1992, which focused on CD-ROM titles. The company had numerous divisions and sublabels. The company faced financial difficulties in 1998, and after an attempt sale to Frontline Communications was called off in December, it ceased operations in mid-1999.
