Mediamuse Inc. (株式会社メディアミューズ) was a software company in Shinagawa, Tokyo, established on October 31, 1985. Its main client by far was media company KSS. It was even located in the KSS Togoshi Building, but it is unknown if KSS held a financial stake. Mediamuse was most notably behind the Mujintou Monogatari and Goiken Muyou games. Contrary to what is reported elsewhere, the first game in the latter series was not developed by ex-Sega employees who worked on the Saturn version of Virtua Fighter 2. Rather, it was supervised by and featured four Virtua Fighter champions including Mediamuse programmer (and former Zap programmer) Toyohiko Yoshimine (aka "Ikesarah").
