Tango Gameworks

Formerly known as Tango K.K., Tango Gameworks was a Japanese video game developer founded by Shinji Mikami, the creator of the Resident Evil series. The studio was known for having developed The Evil Within series and Ghostwire: Tokyo. Tango's parent company ZeniMax Media was acquired by Microsoft in March 2021, making Tango the first Japanese studio in Microsoft Gaming's development portfolio. In January 25th, 2023 they shadow-dropped Hi-Fi Rush on PC and XBOX, a game that surprised many with its left field visual design and gameplay. In May 7th, 2024 it was announced Tango Gameworks would close its doors as a repriotitization strategy within the Bethesda and ZeniMax teams.
