CDPR, I think, has some of the best RPG writing and quest design in the business. Every main and side quest serves to tell a compelling story and overall enriches the world much more than in other games. On top of that, their world design is just incredible. Night city just FEELS immersive in a way that few other games pull off. The only low point in the game is the game mechanics. Their just fine. The guns/swords/whatever feels sluggish and a little weird compared to more polished titles, Hacking/Stealth feels secondary, and the RPG system is fairly simplistic and not that fun to engage with. Despite this, the story and overall game-feel carry this game to be a great title. Don't know what it was like at launch, but now it's incredible.
