Sondro Gomez is an aspiring musician trying to make it on his own in Sunova. Unfortunately, his career isn’t going very well, and he’s racked up quite a debt to the mysterious Masked Man. Sondro has little choice but to make a deal with him: If Sondro can find the magic, wish-granting "Mystic Orbs" that have fallen from the stars and landed all across Sunova, the Masked Man won’t continue adding interest to his dues. With little to lose, Sondro turns his guitar strings into "the Barbed-Lasso", and goes out on a quest to acquire treasures and recover the Mystic Orbs!
Guide Sondro through an ancient world of wonder on his journey to overcome his financial woes and discover the dark secrets lurking in the shadows. Sunova is home to many unusual residents who are just as keen to get the Mystic Orbs as he is...
In the action-adventure platformer "Sondro Gomez: A Sunova Story", use Sondro's Barbed-Lasso to attack enemies, solve puzzles, even swing and slingshot around obstacles and hazards! Several power-ups appear throughout each level to aid in exploration by providing Sondro with new ways to traverse terrain, defeat enemies, and find hidden treasures:
The "Flight Feather" gives Sondro a boost by allowing an extra jump in midair and providing a temporary slow-fall effect!

The "Big Boot" allows Sondro to quickly drop to the ground with a thundrous stomp that can take out enemies and reveal secrets hidden in the floor!

The "Climbing Claws" give Sondro a temporary grip that allows him to ascend by jumping back-and-forth between walls!
Is this an unreleased title from 1989, once lost the sands of time and finally dusted off for the world to play? Is it instead a modern labor of love by a young team of developers aiming to authentically re-create the classic feel right down to the pixel? Who knows... (it's probably the latter...)
